Hotcake designs welcomes overseas orders for delivery within Australia, unfortunately at this point we cannot deliver a gift overseas.
On the day you place your order, your gift will be receipted for purchase and prepared for dispatch by your chosen postal option for the next business day.
Orders placed before 11am EST weekdays, excluding public holidays, will be prepared for same day dispatch where ever possible.
Orders placed after 5pm EST on any given weekday, weekend or public holiday will be receipted for purchase and prepared for dispatch the next business day.
You will receive email confirmation as your order proceeds to delivery so you’re not left wondering how long it will be before your gift arrives.
The time taken from dispatch to successful delivery will vary between the postal options you choose as you finalise your order through our checkout.
You have two options for delivery;
1. Free Delivery to addresses within Australia using Australia Post ParcelPost
2. Express Courier service. This is an overnight service to most addresses in Australia, except for some regional areas, delivery may take 2 working days.
When deciding where to send your baby gift, we’d always recommend you send your gift home rather than to the hospital, as many women often only stay in the hospital for a few days. If you do decide to deliver your gift to a hospital, please be sure to provide us with the full name of the mother (a maiden name is often helpful too); and as much detail regarding the ward and room number will make sure your gift arrives without delay.
In case nobody’s home when your gift is to be delivered, you have an option of giving your authority to leave the package without the courier service obtaining a signed receipt of goods at the destination. This means there is no way of receiving confirmation (via the delivery courier service) of “proof of delivery”. We cannot be held responsible for the gift after it has left the couriers hands. Without your authority to leave the package at the delivery address in the event of nobody being home; a calling card will be left with details on how collection of your gift can be finalised.
Business or hospital deliveries will most likely be directed for receipt through a central delivery point, such as a reception or mail room. It should be understood that where your specific written instructions on delivery have been completed by the courier on behalf of hotcake designs; and the package has been receipted as delivered to a central distribution point or business reception room; hotcake designs deems the gift successfully delivered and takes no responsibility beyond this point.
Once a gift has left our office, and been delivered in accordance with your instructions, and as per our delivery time frames, we accept no responsibility for the recollection of the baby gift and re-directing it to an alternate address. We will happily assist you to have the parcel re-directed, however redirections can take up to 3 business days and will incur an additional delivery fee that will be passed on to you.
All of our ingredients are of the highest quality. We use HUGGIES nappies, BONDS singlets and TIPPY TOES socks. Our nipper rapper sheets are made from 100% cotton with the product proudly made in Australia. Our fabric designs will reflect current seasons and trends. The fabric in the gift you receive may not be as pictured, it will however be in the chosen colour scheme and be true to the hotcake brand.
The HUGGIES nappies are newborn size for a child up to 5kg.
The BONDS singlets are size 00
The TIPPY TOES socks sizes are 0-12 months or 12-24months and vary according to style and availability
